Simply put - it's really wet. We received .72" of rain last night bringing the weekly total to 1.46". Add the rain to all the melting snow and ice and it is basically a swamp out there. There is standing, and in some cases flowing, water everywhere, including greens. With the warmer temperature, the ground is thawing leaving the greens very soft under foot. More rain is in the forecast for today.
The golf course will remain closed today. Course conditions will be reevaluated Sunday morning.
