The fall greens aerification began this morning. Similar to the process we performed this past spring, we are punching 3/8" holes with a solid tine to alleviate compaction, rolling to smooth, vertical mowing to help reduce thatch, and then, finally, a light sand topdressing to help smooth and firm the surface.
The front nine and one of the practice greens was completed today and the remaining greens will be completed by Tuesday afternoon.
