IT'S TIME TO REPAINT THE TEE MARKERS

As many of you have likely noticed, the new (this past spring) tee markers are already looking pretty bad. The paint is peeling and chipping and rust is beginning to form. I anticipated the need to repaint the markers every few years but not after only a few months of use.  In my opinion, the condition is simply not acceptable for brand new markers.  Fortunately, the manufacturer agrees and has offered to correct the issue by stripping the paint and treating them with a rust inhibitor before priming and repainting.

The only problem is that we will be without tee markers on the golf course while they are being repaired. There are 180 tee markers on the course plus several "backups" so it will likely be a couple of months before we get them back. The markers will be removed from the course on Monday, December 1.  While they are missing, we ask that you play from where you like in the vicinity of the permanent yardage marker but please try to spread out the wear around the entire teeing ground as much as possible.

We apologize for the inconvenience and thank you for your understanding.
