This week, again, was challenging thanks to all of the rain. But in spite of the less than ideal conditions, progress was made. On #16, much of the rough shaping has been completed and the drainage system is being installed. The crew is planning to work through the weekend and hope to have the dirt work completed by Monday morning. Sod deliveries are scheduled for next week.
The tee surrounds on #4 and 12 were sodded this week leaving only #7 to be completed after the work on #16 is finished. Also, the bentgrass sod on the tees was mowed for the first time today. They still need a lot of time to grow in before they are ready to handle play but they are looking pretty good.
