SPRING AERIFICATION 2018

The golf course will be closed Wednesday, March 28 and Thursday, March 29 for aerification. A contractor will be on site both days to aerify the fairways and, simultaneously, our staff will aerify and topdress the greens.

The plan (which is subject to change based on conditions day of) is to pull a 5/8" core on the fairways followed by core dragging and blowing.  On the greens we plan to punch a solid hole with 1/2" diameter by 6 1/2" deep tines followed by rolling to smooth the surface and sand topdressing and dragging to fill the holes.

It will be a busy couple of days with a flurry of activity but, if all goes as planned, the greens and fairways will be completed by end-of-day Thursday.
