It's wet again but, surprisingly, not as wet as I had anticipated. We received 2.2" of rain. No irreparable damaged occurred, only sand washouts in the bunkers and a tremendous amount of flood debris left on 10 and 11. Fortunately, the lake receded just as quickly as it rose and the GCM Staff is hard at work cleaning and putting your golf course back into shape.
The golf course will open for play at 10:00 am. Carts will be restricted to paths only and handicap flags will not be permitted. We will monitor the course conditions throughout the day but do not expect enough drying to occur to allow a cart rule change before tomorrow.
